Relaxation: breathing is essential
Breathing can calm, de-stress and relax us. It is still necessary to know how to practice it correctly.
Like the autopilot of an airplane, our brain controls the rhythm and amplitude of our breathing without our being aware of it. Unfortunately, it also commands our hearts to race when we are afraid, and the heart-lung system being intimately linked, we find ourselves gasping for fear or racing with stress . In addition, sitting most of the day, without exercising, we often adopt bad positions that compress the rib cage. Result: we only mobilize barely 30% of the 6 liters of air contained in our lungs.
Breathing properly is therefore essential to our serenity. It also means optimizing blood circulation, oxygenation of the whole body and the elimination of toxins. This is why we gain an optimal state of health and immediate well-being.
BREATHING THAT CALMS
Inhale through the nose, expanding the belly, then lifting the ribs and filling the rib cage. Pause for a few seconds to allow the oxygen to penetrate well, then exhale very gently through your mouth (as if you were blowing out a candle without extinguishing it), gradually drawing in your stomach until your lungs are completely empty. New apnea for a few seconds to conserve the carbon dioxide, then restart a slow and ample cycle. It is advisable to train ten minutes in the morning and evening.
