Can you relax your neck yourself?

You can relax your neck and your trapezoids yourself with a self-massage to be given both sitting in the office and in the evening at home.

In a few minutes, we will relax this often knotted part of the body, especially when we sit in front of a screen for long hours.

Gestures :

• Sitting (or standing), back straight, shoulders down but relaxed.

• Place the hands on each side of the neck at the level of the trapezius. The elbows are level with the mouth and close together.

• Inhale and as you exhale, slowly lower your elbows, bringing your trapezius muscles forward with your hands. This will stretch them and relax the upper back. Repeat 3 to 5 times.

• Then, put the right hand next to the nape of the neck on the left side and apply pressure with the fingers starting from the neck to the shoulder.

• Repeat 5 times on each side.
