Bad communication affects recruitment in companies

Poor communication when looking for collaborators can cost organizations a lot, says an expert.

One of the most frustrating problems faced in the job market is also one of the easiest to fix: lack of communication.

The candidate sees a vacancy online, captures his CV, is contacted and everything seems to be going well. They promise to call him the next day, but that doesn't happen. He only listens to silence, then comes the doubts (what did I do wrong?) and the annoyance at the lack of follow-up. Even if that person gets a call after a week or two, the chances of him being open or enthusiastic are slimmer.

Even more frustrating is this process for workers in the operational sector, that is, waiters, cooks, security guards, who do not have easy access to online employment platforms or who do not even have an email account to keep an eye on email of the company to which they applied.

Certainly that is reflected in high levels of turnover. In fact, in private security companies that number reaches 80% per year. Faced with this problem, it is necessary to reflect on the importance of maintaining good communication during the recruitment process from start to finish.

Communicate effectively

Today we have a market that is too competitive not to communicate effectively; Failure to do so prevents companies from getting the best hiring results. When communication fails, everyone loses. If companies do not do a timely follow-up or are disorganized, this will be a reflection of their way of doing business; If the candidate does not respond promptly, the employer will assume that he lacks commitment. In such a scenario, the priority level for both parties plummets. Nobody wins.

Finally, open and constant communication demonstrates professionalism. Plus, it helps build trust and respect, all of which are key to a successful working relationship.

Employment apps are essential tools for today's companies, but if we add accurate and effective communication to these, the result is unbeatable.
